Fuel cost calculator
Estimate your monthly and yearly fuel spend based on your commute and vehicle mileage.
Monthly fuel cost
{{ monthlyFmt }}
{{ yearlyFmt }} per year
How this is calculated
We convert your daily commute distance into litres used based on your vehicle's mileage, multiply by fuel price, then scale up to the days you actually drive each month.
Monthly Cost = (Distance / Mileage) × Price × Days
Example: a 20km daily commute at 15 km/l and ₹100/litre, driven 22 days a month, costs about ₹2,933 a month.
Tips to cut fuel costs
- Keep tyres properly inflated — low pressure hurts mileage noticeably.
- Combine errands into one trip instead of several short ones.
- Consider carpooling or public transport for part of the week.
- Service your vehicle on schedule to keep the engine running efficiently.
